Executive Summary

The main idea behind this internship was exposing students to field experiences which involved social interactions with people as well as data collection.

MARCEK SARL started on the 1st august to the 31st of august 2024. As such, it is four-year-old.

This company is highly specialized in the selling of brasseries drinks to customers at wholesale prices. The creation of this company has helped in the reduction of unemployment rate in the country. It has reduced the burden of taxation on brasseries and the satisfaction of customers wants.

MARCEK SARL just as any other company has as main aim to maximize profit as well as satisfy the desires of their customers. As per the activities carried out in the company, I was trained in the various aspects. Input and output of stock in and out of the magazine, magazine arrangements and balancing of empty crates, Inventory counting, OPS, selling of drinks, Embalarge counting.

CHAPTER ONE

INRODUCTION

1.1 Background to the internship

Internship are supervised, structure learning experience in a professional setting that allow you to gain valuable work experiences in a chosen field of student, it gives the student the opportunity for career exploration and development and to learn new skills. It offers the employers the opportunities to bring new ideas and energy into the work place, develop talent. During my stay at MARCEK SARL, I realized their main aim was to make profit and minimize lost.

1.1.1    Orientational The Company

On the 1 of July 2023 there was orientation at the company at exactly speech was given by the company that said MARCEK SARL is a company that sells and distribute Brasseries product only. MARCEK SARL has three shareholders in the persons of MR. DJIFACK, MR EKERUM COLLINS AND MR KEPSEU IGOR. The re buy and sell the company’s product there exist five major departments; .

1. 2 Aim and Objectives of the internship

Internship is a professional learning experience that offers meaningful and practical work related to a student’s field of study or career of interest. Here below are some of the meaningful objective of Internship helps students to enhance those skills obtain from the perspective of a working environment and benefit from mentor or supervisors experience of new skills                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Internship also often allow you to gain feed back  from employers or mentors who already have experience in your desired industry, that is internship can provide unique opportunities for learning of the academic setting.

PURCHAS

This refers to the acquisition of goods or services in exchange for a payment, this payment is usually pay in cash or credit.

SALES

This refers to any transaction where money or value is exchange for the ownership for a good or services.

DISTRIBUTION

This process of making a product or service available for the consumer or business users who needs it.

PRODUCT

A product is a service or object made available for consumer’s demand.

E-LEADER

E-leader is a software solution capable of processing large amount of data very quickly and most importantly learns products, clients, prices and maps.

ACCOUNTING SAGE 100

Sage software is an account system that allows small business owners to manage accounting invoicing, cashflow, expenses, bank reconciliation, inventory and financial reporting as well as enabling to submit tax returns online.

INVENTORY

This refer to the raw materials use to produce goods as well as the goods that are available for sell. It is classified as a current asset on a company’s balance sheet.

FIFO                                                                                                                                       FIFO stands for first in first out its an accounting method in which assets purchased and acquired first are disposed of first, FIFO assumes that the remaining inventory consists of items purchased last.

CHAPTER TWO

PRESENTATION OF THE ORGANISATION

2.1 Historical Background of the organization

MARCEK SARL was created on the 1 of July 2021, placed under the general management of three partners in the persons MR NDIFACK MARC, MR EKERUM COLLINS, MR KEPSEU IGOR. The name MARCEK SARL was derived from the names of the partners which is MARC for MR MARC, E for EKERUM and K for KEPSEU.

MARCEK is located at check point MOLYKO BUEA. The company started with five employees but today given the need for personnel because of development of its activities. The total employees of date are 45, 5 trucks, 4 truwel,2 fork lifters and other means of transportation such as tricycle bike, computer and printing machine.

It is said that these shareholders were once employees of Brasseries du Cameroun which is now known as BOISON DU CAMEROUN, they worked under the PVL department after working for brasseries du Cameroon for many years they decided to create their own small brasseries around BUEA so that their customers will save the stress of going right at OMBE to buy brasseries products.
