Abstract

Website Design and learning HTML were the main objective of this internship. To develop a web based application there are several programming languages that are in use. Some of them are only used for the frontend and backend design of the software.

For example, HTML3, HTML4, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript etc. There are also some other programming languages that are used to develop the dynamic functions of the software or application. For example- PHP, Java etc. Nowadays there are also some frameworks that use vastly.

Frameworks are basically structured programming by using Model, View and Controller. It is also called as MVC. If we develop web based application that is very useful for us because we can access it from anywhere in the world. It is very helpful for our daily life. That is why I choose subject of my report as “WEB DESIGN”.

Training in TEKSTEDIA added huge experiences in my upcoming career. Solving real life problems was another key issue. This report takes us through all the details of WEBSITE DESIGN knowledge and experience gathered during this internship period.

CHAPTER ONE

INTRODUCTION

During my academic pursuit as a software engineering student, I had the invaluable opportunity to undertake an internship that provided hands-on experience in a real-world software development environment. This internship served as a stepping stone in my journey towards becoming a proficient software engineer, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge gained in classrooms to practical scenarios. Over the course of the internship, I worked alongside experienced professionals, collaborated on projects, and acquired a deep understanding of software development processes, industry practices, and teamwork dynamics.

Company Background:

The internship took place at a renowned software development company known for its innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies. The company specialized in various domains, ranging from web and mobile applications to enterprise software development. Its diverse client base allowed me to gain exposure to different industries, thereby broadening my understanding of software engineering across various sectors.

Historical background of the organization were I did my internship. 

Tekstedia is a Cameroon based tech company. It was founded in the year 2019 by Nsah Esli with the motive to increase industrial, commercial and personal standards through technology. Tekstedia is a registered company with license number TTPRR-RC LPP-2020/B and a range of employees from 26-50. The tech company is out to bring solutions for better improvement of business actions with the use of advanced tech systems. It seeks to empower businesses and business men using digital and media tools. It is located at Tared Malingo Street Opposite Jehovah Witness Church, Buea, Cameroon.

Aims and Objective of Tekstedia. 

Tekstedia engages in the production of industrial software to solve industry and business challenges, Develop and Brand businesses to meet up with modern marketing and publicity strategies to achieve Maximum sales and massive expansion.

Tekstedia equally seeks to build computer systems and gadgets that meets the needs of every Cameroonian in particular and Africa at large irrespective of their class and status.

In a fast growing sector like Technology characterized by strong competition. The fact is what makes you different is uniqueness. Tekstedia is a unique company with a highly collaborative, experienced and efficient staff that strive each moment to surpass client expectation and bring high satisfaction.
