Executive Summary

During the 2-month internship at Zenvatech, I had an enriching experience in the field of web development. The internship focused on learning and implementing various web technologies, including React, Vue, and Angular, to create a task tracker project. Throughout the internship, I gained a deep understanding of the development process, from conceptualizing the project to deploying a functional website.

As the internship progressed, we were given the opportunity to work individually on creating a website using JavaScript, CSS, React, and HTML. This hands-on experience allowed me to apply the knowledge gained from the training sessions and further enhance my coding skills.

I learned how to structure a web project, implement responsive designs, and efficiently utilize different libraries and frameworks to create dynamic and user-friendly websites. In addition to web development, I had the chance to delve into the basics of the Python coding language. This exposure provided a broader perspective on various programming paradigms and expanded my skill set beyond web development.

Furthermore, I learned about version control systems and testing procedures, which are essential aspects of software development. Overall, the internship at Zenvatech was a valuable opportunity that equipped me with practical skills and insights into the world of web development. The hands-on experience, coupled with the guidance and support from the Zenvatech team, prepared me for a successful career in this dynamic and ever-evolving field. I am grateful for the knowledge gained, the professional connections made, and the personal growth achieved throughout this internship.

CHAPTER ONE

GENERAL INTRODUCTION

1.1 Information on Internship in General

Definition:

An internship is a professional learning experience or procedure which offers practical skills which are related to the individual’s field of studies (careers.umbc.edu). Internships are meant to test and prepare an individual for the job market which is skill based. Now a days one cannot get an employment with a certificate alone, you must have a certain level of experience or some project to show their skills in practical application.

1.2 Objective of internship

The objective of every internship is to provide students with an opportunity to put into practice the skills they have learned while in school. The main objective of our internship at Zenvatech was to enhance our skills in Web Development, Software Development, System Analysis and Workplace Ethics and Management.

1.2.1 Objectives

The objectives of the internship were to:

• Learn how to build a static and dynamic web applications.
• Learn how to work with others in a team.
• Learn how to present projects.

1.3 Importance of internship

Internships are important not just to the student but to the organization and school also. Here is the importance of an internship to the various participants’:

1.3.2 Importance to the school:

It offers the opportunity for the school to offer a different mode of career education base on the different departments. The school may not have the resources or the time to explain or teach that which the students need to know about the working environment or field. The internship helps with the aspect of giving real world experience to the students and is very much beneficial for the school because after understanding the necessary things and attitude needed to succeed in their various field of study, the student’s attitude towards learning in class may improve.

Lastly not much of practical is done in school so an internship is a great opportunity for the school’s student to become practically familiar with what they learned in the classroom.

Internships are important to organizations as they provide an opportunity to identify and nurture talent, infuse fresh perspectives and innovative ideas, and build a pipeline of potential future employees. Interns bring enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and often possess up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and technologies. Additionally, internships allow organizations to develop their employer brand and contribute to the professional development of students, creating a positive impact on the wider community.
