Abstract

This project report outlines the development of a navigation app for the University of Buea campus using Android Studio and Google Maps API. The app is designed to help students and visitors navigate the school campus by providing real-time directions from one location to another. The app includes features such as location-based services to help users find their way around the campus.

LITERATURE REVIEW

1.1 Problem Statement

Navigating through a large and complex school campus can be a challenge for students, teacher, and visitors, particularly during peak hours when congested pathways and crowded buildings can lead to wasted time, frustration, and even safety concerns.

Therefore, there is a need for a comprehensive and user-friendly navigation app that can provide accurate and up-to-date maps, directions, and information to help users navigate through the campus efficiently and safely. The initiatives that lead to me building a navigation app for the University of Buea was due to students feedback
