Introduction

A multi-restaurant food ordering application is a digital platform that allows users to order food from multiple restaurants in their area. It provides a convenient and efficient way for customers to browse through various menus, select their desired dishes, customize their orders, and make payments online. The application acts as an intermediary between the customers and the restaurants, facilitating the entire ordering process from start to finish.

Purpose:

Making a multivendor food marketplace where the traditional process of purchasing food and groceries can now be done online across multiple restaurants, and to also create better way of enabling information gathering about restaurants for first timers.

1.2 Problem Statement:

One of the key challenges in developing a multi-restaurant food ordering application is integrating with multiple restaurants’ systems. Each restaurant may have its own unique menu, pricing, and ordering process. Therefore, the application needs to establish a seamless connection with each restaurant’s backend system to retrieve accurate and up-to-date information about menus, prices, availability, and delivery options.

1.3 Background:

Everyone has a life to live, whether in leisure or with the clock, no matter the case, the most common intersection in these different people is the food they eat. It isn’t always the way you may like or want, or maybe you simply don’t have the time to make it yourself.

The platform is targeting the whole nation at large and is focused on making every nutrition business accessible and open to new visitors round the clock.

1.5Analysis scope:

The system is built and used by individuals of any age with access to a phone. The application is built for both Android and iOS systems and should be easily accessible in Playstore and Apple Store respectively by phone.
