AUTOMATIC HYDRAULIC JACK
Abstract
This project was done based on the need to help people in their day to day activity to save more time and earn more money. The main objective was to improve and increase technology in our day to day life in order to ease development. As my project name entails AN AUTOMATIC HYDRAULIC JACK.
GENERAL INTRODUCTION
BTECH project is the practical application of theoretical knowledge to come up with a solution to a problem in the society. The purpose for College of Technology including BTECH project is to expose students to real work of environment experience and at the same time, to gain the knowledge through hands on observation and job execution.
Students develop skills in work ethics, communication and management and others. Moreover, this practical training program allows students to relate theoretical knowledge with practical part. In Cameroon this project can help improve on technological advancement and solve even problems in society.
1.1 Introduction:
The hydraulic jack is an essential tool in carrying out diagnostic as it the tool that deals with carrying and supporting heavy loads. This project of ours comes as aid to facilitate the lifting of the vehicle and heavy loads on vehicle. The automated hydraulic jack will reduce effort and make work more comfortable for the technician.
The Automated hydraulic jack works by the use of a motor, connecting wires, relays and push button for the jacking of the vehicle automatically.
The aim of the automated jack is to reduce time wastage, increase work applicability, efficiency.
1.2 Problem statement:
The problem my project tries to solve is the stress and time it takes to jack a car in a workshop or garage.
This has been a great challenge in the society as people will need to stress a lot to jack a car and change their tires; we have all had that experience before this is where an automatic hydraulic jack comes in place to salvage this situation.
1.3 Aims and Objectives:
The general objectives and aims of this project are to solve the following:
- Facilitate the lifting of the vehicle to carry out any work under the car.
- Reduce the effort and make work more comfortable for the technician
- Ease and reduce time wasted for the technician to carry out work.
- Reduce or eliminate the cost of finding a mechanic to lift your car and replace your tires
