 Do not always do the same thing over and over again if you want to improve your life. Instead, be willing to change and adapt in order to evolve and develop. The best way to change every day is to be conscious and eager.

 

All wishes to live a happier life. But how exactly do you do that? How can you change and make your life better? There are no set tasks you can do; after all, life does not come with a checklist. But there are a few key things that have helped many people, and I’m going to tell you about them today.

 

These things are simple and easy, and if you can do these few key things right, you will see significant improvement in your life.

#1. Develop A Consistent Morning Routine

Having a consistent morning routine as an individual helps improve your life. Humans have a routine in life, a routine on when we eat, a routine on when we watch a particular movie series, a routine to when we sleep and routine on when we wake up from bed.

 

If you adhere to a schedule, your brain will simplify the process. For example, if you wake up at the same time every day, go to bed at the same time every day, and workout every day, these activities will become habits, and your brain will not have to expend energy worrying about them.

 

This encourages the brain to concentrate on more interesting things so it doesn’t have to waste energy worrying about mundane tasks; instead, it automates the process, leaving it with a lot more energy to use on artistic endeavours. 

This is why you should create and commit to a regimen for yourself; you will see a significant difference in your life. I can convince you of that.

Like a company, create a a personal mission statement which summarizes who you are, what you’re about, where you are heading to and the core values that you believe in. Take the time to write a personal mission statement. Assess your life on a daily basis based on that mission statement, this will help improve your life.

Setting meaningful goals is one way to improve your life right now. Goals that have profound meaning in your life, based on things like family, stability, independence, safety, and contribution, rather than goals that are superficial. Spend 15 minutes writing them down.

People who always speak ill of others and never praise someone or give them the credit that they deserve. People who always  criticize their government, people who always blame others for not helping them to get a better life that they want, people who procrastinate all the time……Avoid these people.

 

Take a moment to think of the five people you spend time with the most and ask yourself the following questions:

  2. Do they make you strive for more, work on self-improvement, moving forward, breaking new grounds and defying limits?

Eating a variety of foods and eating less salt, calories, saturated fats, and trans fats from industrial sources are important for a healthy diet.

 

Keep in mind that you are what you eat. Be sure that what you put in your body is energy rich and that it will help you remain healthy. Not only do we have less health issues when we feed our bodies nutritious foods and beverages, but we also sleep healthier, have more stamina, and live longer.

 

Practice drinking a glass of water every morning when you wake up from bed. Also, practice eating fruits such as watermelon, pineapple, banana, apples, etc at least 2x a week. This will not only keep your body healthy but improve your life.

You should always be on the lookout for new information to help you change your life. It’s quick to get engrossed in what we already know. But, if we want to really improve the quality of our lives, we must constantly learn. Find anything you can learn today, something, and go learn it. If it’s a new ability, a new language, or something else, just decide and do it.

 

When it comes to things you should do to better your life, studying daily has to be at the top of the list. In an era where everyone is preoccupied with social media and keeping up appearances, intelligence is what will get you ahead and make your life easier. True knowledge. Reading books allow you to gain knowledge and learn about the world. Learn from other people’s experience and allows you to not make similar mistakes.

#10. Reduce the hours spend on social media and TV

Reduce the time spent on social media and TV and use it wisely to move you forward in your long-term pursuits, hopes, and dreams.

We are not trying to say that watching your favourite TV show is bad….however, mind the type of TV programme that you Consumed….Remember, watching excessive TV add more values to the actors and actresses and very little overall value to you… Spent more time watching educative programme, programme that your can learn something from, TV shows that educates you on health, diet, career, weather etc.

 

Rather wasting lots of time following up a particular TV series every 7pm, why not buy the premium package and watch the entire series in a week. In this way, you be able to gain the knowledge and dogma that the TV series is trying to send out in to the society.

 

Many successful people we know (Bill Gate, Elon Musk etc) do not sit down at home every (7pm for example) to follow up a particular time show. They rather use the internet to google search the story or lesson behind a particular TV show before deciding to buy a full premium package and sit down in a week to follow up the lessons behind the TV program. In this way, they get to spend less time on TV and more time on productive activities. Thus minding the amount of time we spend on social media and TV can be a crucial steps that can help us improve in our life.
